Main Street crash injures Findlay woman

A Findlay woman was hurt in a two-vehicle crash at 2:57 p.m. today at the intersection of North Main Street and Melrose Avenue, the Findlay Police Department reported.

Cheryl Ward, 43, was taken by Hanco Ambulance to Blanchard Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police said Mike Summers, 53, of Findlay, was southbound on North Main Street in a GMC Sierra pickup when he attempted a left turn and pulled into the path of a northbound Buick Park Avenue operated by Ward.

Summers was cited for failure to yield while making a left turn, police said.

Findlay Fire Department assisted at the scene.
