Upper Sandusky teen injured in sledding accident

MARSEILLES — A 14-year-old Upper Sandusky girl was injured in a sledding accident Monday at the Killdeer Upground Reservoir.

Shyane Green was flown by medical helicopter to Toledo Hospital about 2:30 p.m., according to the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office.

Green was injured when she and two other sledders struck a mound of dirt while sledding down the north side of the reservoir. All three were thrown from the sled, and the two others landed on Green, injuring her, according to the sheriff’s office.

Information about Green’s condition was not available Tuesday.
