Report issued on Findlay homicide

The Hancock County coroner released his report on the homicide of Joe Gutierrez III, indicating multiple gunshot wounds to Gutierrez’s body and the presence of cocaine.

Gutierrez, 34, died within minutes of the Nov. 8 Findlay shooting, according to a report from Coroner Dr. Mark Fox.

The  coroner also noted cocaine and alcohol as other significant conditions in the cause of death findings.

Separately today, Ralph G. Harris III, 20, of Findlay, appeared in Hancock County Common Pleas for a brief pretrial hearing.

Harris and co-defendant Montre O. Robinson, 21, of Findlay, are charged with murder in Gutierrez’s death.

Harris’ trial date is rescheduled for April 7 ; Robinson’s trial date is May 12.
