A wind chill warning issued by the National Weather Service remains in effect for northwestern Ohio until noon Wednesday.
Temperatures below or near zero are expected for most of today and Wednesday morning, with winds blowing from the southwest at 10 to 15 mph. That wind is enough to cause wind chills as low as minus 29 today, according to the weather service’s forecast.
Temperatues will rise slightly starting on Thursday, but only into the upper 20s. A chance of snow will return this weekend, with highs in the upper 20s to lower 30s.
