Wind chill advisory issued

The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for Hancock, Seneca, Wood and Wyandot counties until 9 a.m. Thursday.

Wind chills between minus 10 and minus 15 are possible during the overnight hours as temperatures fall to near zero.

The weather service says residents should limit their exposure to the cold and make sure all exposed skin is covered to prevent against hypothermia and frostbite.
