Findlay school board to hold special session Friday

The Findlay City Schools board of education will hold a special session on Friday at noon to discuss employment and compensation of personnel.

School board president Shane Pochard previously told The Courier that a decision on a new superintendent could come on Friday, but did not confirm that a candidate had been chosen.

The two remaining finalists for the position are Edward Kurt, superintendent of Margaretta Local Schools in Castalia; and Tod A. Hug, superintendent of Ayersville Local Schools.

Margaretta’s school board is scheduled to meet today to discuss Kurt’s employment.
