Â KENTON â€” A Dunkirk man was hurt Friday night when his car slid off a Hardin County road and hit a utility pole south of Kenton, the Findlay post of the State Highway Patrol reported.
The patrol said Caleb Delong, 20, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken by BKP Emergency Medical Service to Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton.
Delong was driving a 2001 Kia Sportage on east on Hardin County 160, near Buck Township 179, about 7:21 p.m. when he lost control on the snow-covered road and struck a utility pole, the patrol said.
The vehicle was severely damaged and was towed by Osbornâ€™s Towing.
Assisting at the accident scene were the Hardin County Sheriffâ€™s Office and Kenton Fire Department.
The crash remained under investigation late Friday.
