As the weather and road conditions improve, roadway warnings have been downgraded or dropped in most area counties.
Hardin County remains¬†on¬†a¬†Level 2¬†alert. Level 2 means, “Roadways are extremely hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Only those who feel it necessary to travel should be on the roadways.”
Putnam County¬†downgraded its alert to Level 1.¬†¬†Level 1 means, “Roadways are snow-covered and icy. Drive carefully.”
Other area counties, including Hancock, have¬†canceled¬†their alerts.
