The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for all of northwestern Ohio from Thursday morning through Friday morning.
The recent snow melt, combined with heavy rain expected Thursday, could lead to flooding in low-lying areas and other places where flooding occurs after heavy rainfall. Downspouts blocked with ice and snow may also lead to some water in and around homes.
A mix of snow, freezing rain and rain is expected early Thursday, eventually changing over to rain during the day with a high of 53. A half-inch to one inch of rainfall is possible on Thursday.
