The Blanchard River at Ottawa appears to have crested at about 25.52 feet early this morning, which is just about 18 inches below “moderate” flood stage there.
Otherwise, other streams and creeks are returning to within their banks throughout northwestern Ohio.
The National Weather Service has extended a flood warning for both the Blanchard River at Ottawa and Auglaize River at Fort Jennings until 10 p.m. Tuesday.
There are no flood watches or warnings in effect for the Blanchard River at Findlay or Eagle Creek.
Then, the cold weather returns with some snow showers possible today and Tuesday, and a low close to zero degrees possible on Thursday.
