Two injured in early morning Interstate 75 crash

Two people from Delphos were injured this morning in a crash on Interstate 75, north of Ohio 613.

Jaylynne Hamilton, 19, of Delphos, was driving a 1997 Ford Taurus northbound on the interstate when she attempted to change lanes. Hamilton lost control of her vehicle, striking the median guard rail.

The Taurus then came back onto the road, where Hamilton again lost control, sliding backwards into the median and coming to a stop against the median cable.

Hamilton and a passenger, Madison Stump, 15, of Delphos, were transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco EMS with non-life threatening injuries. Both were wearing their seatbelts.

Hamilton was cited for failure to maintain control of her vehicle.

Dick’s Towing, of Findlay, assisted at the scene.
