The Findlay man found guilty of raping a woman he met in a city bar has lost his appeal to a higher court.
Cory A. Perkins, 29, will continue his 21-year prison sentence after a 3-0 rejection by the 3rd District Court of Appeals, Lima.
A Hancock County Common Pleas Court jury found Perkins guilty during an October 2012 trial of rape on Aug. 13, 2011. The two met at the Walnut Saloon, according to court testimony.
Perkins had maintained his innocence.
