A Columbus Grove woman was injured today after a rollover accident in Hancock County.
Amy Banal, 42, was driving her 2005 Ford Escape at 11:05 a.m. on Ohio 12, just east of Hancock County 16 in Union Township, according to Hancock County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Tamara House.
Banal slid off the right side of the road, and flipped the vehicle after she overcorrected, according to House.
The Escape came to rest on its driver’s side. Banal, who wore a seatbelt, was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital for unknown injuries, according to House.
Banal was cited for operation without reasonable control. Assisting were Mount Cory Fire Department, Gilboa Fire Department, Hanco Ambulance and Dick’s Towing.
