Kahlig scores a record 55 points in 104-74 UF win

Hopefully, the University of Findlay’s Greg Kahlig saved a little of his offensive firepower for Sunday.
The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year set a GLIAC Tournament record with 55 points as the Oilers crushed Walsh University 104-74 in the GLIAC men’s basketball tournament semifinals at Croy Gymnasium Saturday.
Findlay (22-5) advances to Sunday’s 2 p.m. GLIAC Tournament championship game at Croy against Michigan Tech.
Dylan Kaufman was the only other Oiler to reach double figures as he netted 15 points.
Jeff Copeland and Hrvoje Vucic both scored 14 points for the Cavaliers (22-5).
