Two people injured in Findlay accident

Two people were taken to the hospital following a two-car crash at 3:44 p.m. Tuesday on North Main Street, the Findlay Police Department reported.
Transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries were one driver, Rita Blevins, 57, of Arlington, and Carie Dill, 37, of Findlay.
Dill was a passenger in a Toyota Corolla operated by Ashlynn Dill, 15, of Findlay.
According to city police, Ashlynn Dill was stopped on North Main Street, waiting to make a left turn onto North Parke Drive, when she was struck in the rear by Blevins’ Dodge Nitro.
Blevins, who told police she had been changing a channel on her car stereo, was cited for failing to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
Providing assistance at the scene were the Findlay Fire Department and Hanco Ambulance.
Ashlynn Dill told police that she would go to hospital later by private vehicle for her injuries.
