Hardin County crash injures 2

McGUFFEY — Two McGuffey men sustained non-life threatening injuries in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Ohio 195 near Hardin County¬†90,¬†north of McGuffey¬†at 4:22 p.m. Saturday, the Findlay post of the State Highway Patrol reported.

Roger A. Parkins, 22, was driving a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee southbound when it went off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned, the patrol reported.

Parkins and his passenger, Jack R. Parkins, 68, were transported to St. Rita’s¬†Medical Center, Lima,¬†by Alger Emergency Medical Service. Jack was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, the patrol reported.

 The crash is still under investigation, the patrol reported.

The vehicle was severely damaged and¬†removed from the scene¬†by Henderson’s Towing.

Assisting at the scene was the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office and¬†McGuffey Fire Department.
