One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon on North Main Street.
According to the Findlay Police Department, Larry L. Hollar, 43, of Van Buren, was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco Ambulance with minor injuries.
Police reported Hollar, who was driving a 2008 Chevy Silverado pickup, was stopped in the northbound lane on North Main Street at the Hancock County 99 intersection at 2:19 p.m. when he was struck in the rear by a 2004 Dodge Neon driven by Zachary J. Thom, 20, of Findlay.
Thom told police he was stopped behind Hollar when he dropped his cigarette and his foot slipped off the brake and onto the accelerator.
He was cited by police for failure to stop in the assured clear distance.
