State shuts down Fostoria bar

FOSTORIA–State agents are in Fostoria tonight, removing alcohol and business proceeds from Los Tocallos Bar and Restaurant, 203 N. Main St., because its liquor license is outdated.

An officer from the Ohio Investigative Unit in Toledo said the unit received an anonymous call last month reporting the bar was operating without a license. Finding the complaint to be accurate, officers carted boxes of alcohol out of the establishment after 9 p.m. today.

Officers said the matter will be handled through the Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court. The business will not be permitted to sell alcohol until a valid license is obtained from the Division of Liquor Control, according to the officer, who wished to remain anonymous due to undercover operations.
