Findlay police investigating aggravated assault

Findlay police arrested a local man after responding to a report of an assault around 1:28 a.m. Sunday near Blaine Street.
Dustin Lanagan, 33, of Findlay, was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault and is being held in the Hancock County jail.
When police arrived at Lanagan’s home at 1801 Blaine St., they found that two people had been cut with a knife, according to a police report. One of the two victims was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital where he was treated and released, according to police.
Officers were told the suspect had fled into a nearby wooded area, and Lanagan was arrested after he was found hiding in a tree.
