Fight leads to 4-year sentence for city man

A Findlay man was sentenced today to four years in prison after an alleged cane attack.

Scott A. Snow, 39, of Findlay, pleaded guilty to a lesser third-degree felony of attempted felonious assault and a fourth-degree felony of aggravated assault after an Oct. 7 incident.

Snow argued with employees of Nicki’s Bar, 139 N. Main St., over misplaced possessions, said Assistant Prosecutor Elizabeth Smith.

He later returned to the bar with a cane, Smith said.

Snow was originally indicted on two counts of felonious assault, each a second-degree felony. The indictment alleged he attacked two men.
