Three major thoroughfares in Findlay will be closed at times during May as Norfolk Southern Corp. replaces railroad tracks, according to the city’s Engineering Department.
Beginning Monday, May 12, the following roads will be closed for approximately one week:
- Lima Avenue, just west of Western Avenue, near the Cooper Tire Findlay plant.
- North Blanchard Street between Tiffin Avenue and Crystal Avenue, just north of McConnell Street.
The following week, starting Monday, May 19, the intersection of West Sandusky Street and Western Avenue will also be closed for track repairs. The closure should also last for approximately one week.
