Findlay pedestrian struck by car

A Findlay woman was injured early today when she was hit by a car while walking across Defiance Avenue, police reported.
Dani Rosebrook, 37, was taken by Hanco Ambulance to Blanchard Valley Hospital, police said.
The car driver left the scene, police said.
Police said Rosebrook was walking to work on the North Cory Street sidewalk about 4 a.m. When she reached Defiance Avenue, a westbound car on Defiance stopped at the stop sign and the driver waved her across the street, police said.
As Rosebrook was crossing the street, the car drove ahead and struck her as it passed, police said.
The car was described as dark-colored. People with information about the driver are being encouraged to call the Police Department.
