Findlay man hurt in motorcycle crash near McComb

McCOMB — A Findlay motorcyclist was injured about 1:25 p.m. today when he hit the rear of a slowing vehicle near McComb, Hancock County Sheriff’s Deputy R.E. Griffin reported.
Roger Stewart, 56, of Findlay, was ejected from his motorcycle in the crash and was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by McComb Emergency Medical Service, Griffin said.
Stewart was driving a 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle north on Ohio 186, just south of McComb, and was following a 2003 Ford Mustang driven by Roberto Balcarcel, 20, of Deshler, Deputy Griffin said. Balcarcel slowed for a vehicle turning right onto Hancock County 97, and Stewart ran into the rear of the Mustang, Griffin said.
Stewart was not wearing a helmet.
Stewart was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead, Griffin said.
Both vehicles were towed.
McComb police and fire departments assisted at the accident scene.
