OTTAWA — Jeremy Stober returned today to Putnam County Common Pleas Court to once again receive his 10-and-a-half year prison sentence.
The 3rd District Court of Appeals, Lima, unanimously ruled last month that a Putnam County judge did not explicitly say why he imposed a maximum sentence upon Stober. A recent legal change requires he do so.
A jury trial in February 2013 found Stober guilty of three counts of gross sexual imposition, and one count each of sexual battery and importuning.
Stober, 43, of Holgate, served as girls varsity volleyball coach, technology coordinator and teacher at Kalida High School teacher.
