Two Lima residents were hospitalized after a Thursday crash on Interstate 75 near the Hancock County rest area.
Shaun Berry, 33, of Lima, was driving a 2001 Ford Taurus southbound when he was struck from behind by a tractor-trailer at about 4:45 p.m., according to the Findlay post of the State Highway Patrol.
Michael Cuevas, 53, of Elmore, was driving a 2006 Freightliner and hit the Ford while entering the interstate from the rest area, according to the patrol.
Hanco Ambulance transported Berry and a passenger, Amanda Slager, 36, of Lima, to Blanchard Valley Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, the patrol said.
Cuevas was cited for an assured clear distance ahead violation.
Assisting at the accident scene were Mount Cory Fire Department and R&A Towing, according to the patrol.
