Woman injured in Findlay crash

A two-vehicle crash this afternoon on West Main Cross Street in Findlay hospitalized a city woman.

Taylor Young, 20, was injured at about 12:58 p.m. while riding westbound in a 1998 Dodge van driven by Hannah Herringshaw, age unavailable, of Findlay, police said.

A 2006 Hino box truck driven westbound by Zachary Cozadd, age unavailable, of Bluffton, struck the van from behind while the van was stopped in the curb lane for a red light on the 1500 block of West Main Cross Street, near Stanford Parkway.

Police cited Cozadd for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead. Both vehicles sustained damage but were driven from the scene, police said.

Young was treated at Blanchard Valley Hospital for non-visible injuries, police said.
