A Tiffin man was injured in a three-vehicle injury accident on Ohio 12 at Hancock County 88 in Liberty Township this afternoon, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.
Todd Koelsch, 39, of Tiffin, was stopped in a 2014 Nissan pickup truck on westbound Ohio 12 at Hancock County 88, waiting to turn left, when he was rear-ended by a 2004 GMC pickup truck driven by Austin Ream, 20, of Findlay.
After being hit, Koelsch’s truck was pushed into the eastbound lane of Ohio 12, where it was struck by a 2004 Chevrolet SUV driven by Kelsea Ferris, 25, of Rawson. Ferris’ vehicle also had three juveniles — including an infant — in her vehicle.
Koelsch was transported by Hanco EMS to Blanchard Valley Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
Ferris was transported by a relative to Blanchard Valley Hospital to have the infant examined as a precaution.
Assisting at the scene were Liberty Township Fire Department, Dick’s Towing, Ed’s Towing and Mack & Bob’s Towing.
The crash remains under investigation.
