Findlay man sentenced for repeated impaired driving

A Findlay man was sentenced to 17 months in prison for his sixth impaired driving conviction.

Stacy D. Johnson, 47, pleaded guilty Thursday in Hancock County Common Pleas Court to a fourth-degree felony of operating a vehicle while impaired.

Johnson was found guilty of the misdemeanor offense in Fremont Municipal Court in February 2001, December 2002, September 2005 and August 2011 and in Huron Municipal Court in July 2011, according to the indictment.

He will be considered for judicial release after one year of incarceration as part of his plea negotiation.
