If you have a car, truck or motorcycle you are proud of and want to show it off, Saturday is the day.
“Classic Memories IX,” the annual car show hosted by the Flag City Classics club, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Owens Community College, 3200 Bright Road, at the intersection of Hancock County 95 and 99.
Registration will be available from 9 a.m. to noon for $15 per vehicle. About 100 vehicles are already registered, said Larry Lovell, club president, and a total of about 350 vehicles are expected.
The open show is sponsored by the car club, the college, McDonalds of Findlay, and various others. It features all makes, models and years of cars, trucks and motorcycles.
Vehicles from Model A and Model T Fords from the early 1900s to new vehicles will be shown during the show, Lovell said. About 5,000 to 6,000 spectators typically stroll through the rows of vehicles, talking with owners and enjoying the day.
In conjunction with the show, the Fairlane Club of America will hold a regional event for the fifth year.
“Classic Memories” is the largest vehicle show in Findlay each year, and weather conditions are expected to be 75 degrees and sunny.
The free family event also will offer games, music and food.
