2 Columbus Grove residents hurt in crash

COLUMBUS GROVE — Two Columbus Grove residents were hurt in a traffic crash at 12:56 p.m. Thursday about three miles south of Columbus Grove.
Karl S. Stechschulte, 81, and Blanche T. Stechschulte, 80, both of Columbus Grove, were taken to St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, after the accident, the Lima post of the State Highway Patrol reported. Both were treated and released, the hospital said.
The Stechschultes were driving north on Ohio 65 when their car was struck at the Miller Road intersection by an eastbound pickup, the state patrol said. The driver of the pickup, Stephen L. Diller, 64, of Vaughnsville, failed to yield from a stop sign, the patrol reported.
Diller was not hurt, the patrol reported. The crash is still under investigation.
The Stechschultes were taken to the hospital by Columbus Grove Emergency Medical Service.
