A driver accidentally drove her Jeep Grand Cherokee into a pit Wednesday at the Valvoline Instant Oil Change service center, 1919 Tiffin Ave. The Jeep’s front, passenger-side tire dropped into a pit about four feet white at about 12:30 p.m.

The driver contacted AAA to pull out the vehicle, and had it inspected at a nearby Pennzoil business, according to Bronson Moser, Pennzoil store manager. No injuries or damage to the Jeep were reported.

A representative of Henley Bluewater LLC, which operates Valvoline Instant Oil Change service centers, said the company is investigating the incident, calling it “atypical.”

“We are glad that no employees or customers were injured,” the statement said.
