International students boost UF summer attendance

The University of Findlay says summer enrollment is up 10 percent compared to enrollment for summer 2013, marking the third consecutive semester it has experienced enrollment increases.

It said the biggest increase is in international students,  295 compared to 150 last summer.

The university is also predicting enrollment increases for the fall semester, which begins Aug. 18.

In addition, the university said its retention rate for first-year students matriculating to their second year at UF increased significantly:  85 percent for the 2014-15 academic year compared to 79 percent for the 2013-14 year.
