Fire destroys rural residence

RAWSON — Fire destroyed a rural Rawson house on Eagle Township 130 at 7:24 p.m. Saturday.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire, which started in the garage
and spread to the home owned by Bud Clymer, 12038 Eagle Township 130.
The cause of the fire remained undetermined Sunday, according to the Rawson Fire Department.
The house was insured.
Firefighters initially cleared the scene at midnight, but were called back three times when the fire rekindled.
Mutual aid was provided by fire departments from Liberty Township, Blanchard Township, Jenera and Mount Cory.
