North Baltimore to hire new village administrator

The manager of a Michigan village is likely to become the next village administrator of North Baltimore.
During a special meeting scheduled at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, North Baltimore Council will consider legislation to hire Donna Dettling of Dexter, Mich., at a starting salary of $70,000, effective Aug. 11.
Dexter is a village of about 4,000 people situated near Ann Arbor.
If approved, Dettling would replace Kathy Healy, who is retiring this month after more than seven years as North Baltimore’s village administrator.
Dettling was one of four candidates who made the final round of interviews for this post.
