FOSTORIA — Two men were injured in a two-vehicle collision Monday morning at the intersection of Ohio 587 and Seneca County Road 18, southeast of Fostoria.
Jonathan Ayers, 44, of Findlay, and Eric Bouillon, 31, of New Riegel, were taken to ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital by Fostoria Emergency Medical Service squads with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, the Fremont post of the State Highway Patrol reported.
The patrol said Ayers was driving on County 18 in a Ford Edge, stopped at a stop sign at the Ohio 587 intersection, and pulled into the path of a GMC pickup truck driven by Bouillon, who was southbound on Ohio 587.
The crash was reported about 8:30 a.m.
Ayers was cited for failure to yield after a stop, the patrol said.
Assisting at the scene were Bascom Joint Fire District and Reinhart’s Auto Body.
