Toledo retailer seeks donations for new flags for Findlay

A Toledo flags retailer has put out a cash bucket to buy new U.S. flags for Findlay after vandals damaged six flags on North Main Street earlier this week.

“This sort of crime affects all of us in some way,” Joe Stoll, president and CEO of Toledo Flags, said Wednesday.

“The American flag is a symbol to all of us and represents who and what we are, so let’s help bring the patriotism, that someone tried to take away, back to our friends in Findlay, and show the vandal(s) that they won’t win,” Stoll said.

Stoll said the bucket money will go toward buying new three-foot by five-foot flags for North Main Street. No one has been charged in the vandalism.
