Two Findlay residents injured in four-vehicle accident

Two Findlay residents were hospitalized Thursday after a four-vehicle crash in the city.
Judith A. Welle, 66, and Joseph E. Patton, 86, were transported by Hanco Ambulance to Blanchard Valley Hospital after a 10:03 a.m. chain-reaction collision by westbound vehicles in the 700 block of West Trenton Avenue, police said.
Jason A. Coxton, 26, of Brighton, Michigan, was traveling west on Trenton Avenue in a Ford F-650 truck when he struck the rear of a Ford F-150 pickup driven by Frederick Junge, 73, of Findlay, police said.
Junge’s vehicle then hit a Chevy Impala occupied by Welle and Patton. The Impala then struck a Ford Edge driven by Roger Kraemer, 68, of Naperville, Illinois, police said.
Police cited Coxton for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
