Robbery reported at Findlay restaurant

Findlay police are investigating a robbery at the Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse restaurant at the Findlay Village Mall late Saturday night.
According to city police, an employee was locking up the restaurant at around 11:18 p.m. when he was approrached by a young male wearing a black bandanna over his face. The suspect punched the employee and demanded money from him, according to police. The employee ran from the business into the lighted parking lot area with the suspect in pursuit. According to police, the suspect caught up to the employee, who told the suspect he knew who he was. After hearing that, the suspect fled the scene on foot heading west on Plaza Street.
The employee suffered minor injuries but did not need medical attention, according to police.
No weapons were displayed or used, police reported.
