UPDATED: Findlay/Hancock County region not affected by northwestern water problems; list of locales warned

The Findlay and Hancock County region, including adjoining counties, are NOT affected by water quality problems in the Toledo area.

Fresh water in Findlay and nearby subdivisions is drawn from the above-ground Findlay reservoirs east of the city, and not from Lake Erie sources.  Smaller towns use well water or have their own reservoirs, such as Fostoria.
