Update: Teen injured in Ohio 235 crash

MOUNT CORY — A Mount Cory teenager was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Ohio 235, near Union Township 47, at 2:59 p.m. Friday, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Desiree Crist, 16, was northbound on Ohio 235 when she lost control of a 1999 Ford Ranger, heading off the right side of the road, overcorrecting, and going off the left side into a cornfield, where the vehicle overturned and came to rest on the driver’s side, the sheriff’s office reported.
Crist was treated at the scene for minor injuries by Hanco Ambulance, the sheriff’s office reported.
Her passenger, Arthur Ludwig, 8, was not injured, the sheriff’s office reported.
The truck was heavily damaged and was towed.
Mount Cory Fire Department assisted at the scene.
