Sen. Brown to present Findlay veteran with overdue service medals

U.S. Army veteran James Goshe, a sergeant who served in the Iraq War, will be presented with eight military service medals and ribbons during a Tuesday ceremony.

U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown will present the medals, including the Army Commendation Medal and the Army Achievement Medal, to Goshe, a Findlay native, at 4 p.m. ceremony at the Hancock County Veterans Service Office, 1100 E. Main Cross St., Suite 123.

Goshe joined the Army in 1995 and trained as a cannon crew member. He served with the 2nd Brigade Combat Team in Iraq, and was discharged in 2005.
