The State Highway Patrol seized an estimated $136,000 worth of heroin in Findlay.
Christopher Triplett, 42, of Detroit, was found with 2 pounds of heroin at about 12:49 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 75 near U.S. 224, according to the Findlay post of the State Highway Patrol.
Triplett was speeding in a 2014 Ford Contour, according to the post. The heroin was found under the air filter in the engine compartment, troopers said.
Triplett remains in the Hancock County jail on a first-degree felony charge of heroin possession. He faces a maximum sentence if convicted of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine.
