Crash injures Findlay motorcyclist

A Findlay motorcyclist was seriously injured Monday afternoon when he was struck by a car near the Kroger store on Sixth Street.
Victor Benard, 50, was taken by Hanco Ambulance to Blanchard Valley Hospital, city police reported.
Benard was riding east on Sixth Street at 4:46 p.m., police said, and Anna Risser, 66, of Findlay, was westbound in a Honda CRV. Risser struck the motorcycle while trying to turn into the Kroger driveway, police said.
Risser was cited for failure to yield on a left turn, police said. Benard was cited for not wearing a helmet while using a temporary motorcycle permit.
