Lincoln Highway license plate bill approved

The Ohio Senate has unanimously voted to approve a bill co-sponsored by State Sen. Cliff Hite, R-Findlay, that creates a Lincoln Highway specialty license plate.

Proceeds from the new license plate will be used to promote and support historical preservation and advertisement of the Lincoln Highway in Ohio.

The Lincoln Highway passes through Hancock, Wyandot and Allen counties in northwestern Ohio and is the former routing of U.S. 30.
