UPDATED 9:30 P.M.: Carey man seriously hurt in Ohio 568 crash

VIDEO: 1 injured after car hits tree

A Carey man was seriously injured when his car hit a tree at the intersection of Ohio 568 and Biglick Township 253, east of Findlay, at 2:29 p.m. Wednesday.
The man, whose name is being withheld until family members are notified, was driving a 2013 Toyota east on Ohio 568 when he lost control of the car and went off the north side of the road, hitting a tree, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s office.
The driver was taken by LifeFlight medical helicopter to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, according to the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff’s office is asking a witness in a yellow Camaro to contact deputies to make a statement about the crash.
The Vanlue Fire Department assisted at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
