A Findlay man was arrested on multiple charges after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Crystal Avenue and Walnut Street about 2:24 p.m. Friday, city police reported.
Police said Zacharia Marshall, 24, was driving a 1997 Ford F-150 pickup west on Walnut Street and went through a stop sign just past the railroad track, striking a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Rachel Smith, 28, of Findlay, who was eastbound on Crystal.
The airbags deployed in Smith’s car. She was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital with minor visible injuries by Hanco Emergency Medical Service, police said.
After the crash, Marshall ran down the railroad tracks toward Main Street, but was caught by police. He told police he was not driving the truck.
He was cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving under license suspension, failure to stop at a stop sign, and leaving the scene of an accident, police reported.
