NWO (Northwest Ohio Orthopedics & Sports Medicine) in June will start construction of a 13,332-square-foot surgery center at the northeast corner of Hancock County 236 and U.S. 224.
Two existing buildings at the site will be demolished to make room for “NWO Surgery Center,” scheduled to open in spring 2018. NWO will add 20 employees to staff the surgery center, said Matt Boehm, chief financial officer. It currently employs 155, he said.
Plans for the surgery center were approved this morning by Findlay City Planning Commission.
