The Findlay Police Department has announced three new hires to the department.
Jakob Sigler, 25, received an associate degree in criminal justice from Owens Community College. He previously served as a dispatcher at the Findlay Police Department. He graduated from Findlay High School.
Ian Edinger, 24, has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Toledo. He was previously employed in a family business in Sylvania. He graduated from Northview High School.
Dillon Kliesch, 24, is a Vanlue High School graduate. He has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Findlay. He was previously employed at the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.
The three new officers were sworn in by Mayor Lydia Mihalik this week.
All three will start the police academy at the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy on Aug. 21. Upon completion of the academy, they will be assigned to the patrol division of the Findlay Police Department.
