The early morning commute on Interstate 75 into Findlay may get a bit messy in two weeks.
According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, work on the I-75 bridge over the Blanchard River will close all southbound exits in Findlay during the overnight and early morning hours on Oct. 2 and 3.
The closure is planned from 9 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 2 until 7 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3. The far right lane, which also serves as access to the Hancock County 99, U.S. 224 and Ohio 12 exits, will be closed during those hours so crews can set the new bridge’s beams.
Southbound drivers wanting to exit for Hancock County 99 will be detoured to exit at Ohio 613 near Van Buren. For drivers wanting to exit at Ohio 12 or U.S. 224, they will be detoured onto Ohio 15/U.S. 68, then onto northbound I-75.
