Findlay going ahead with leaf pickup

There are flooded streets in parts of the city, but Findlay will begin its annual leaf pickup at 7 a.m. Monday, Mayor Lydia Mihalik said Sunday.
City employees will collect leaves that have been placed in biodegradable paper bags at the curb. Plastic bags will not be picked up.
Bagged leaves should be placed by the curb no later than 7 a.m.
The leaf pickup often takes more than one day, so crews can visit the soggier parts of town on a later day.
